Source's Scaffolding

As I journey through the BrainGAME—a ten‑week path of transformation—I’m feeling a renewed aliveness, a deeper sense of value, and a stronger trust in my own worth and capabilities.

At the same time, what no longer serves is unraveling and melting away.

The unsteady, transient scaffolding of my ego is gently crumbling.

This can feel scary. Shaky. Wobbly. Unknown. Unsafe.

And yet, as it cracks and falls away, something else is revealed:

The true, solid, eternal foundation that is here.

Has always been here.

Will always be here.

Holding me.

Unyielding.

Unwavering.

Solid. Strong. Secure. Eternal.

The eternal support of Source.

The backbone of the universe.

A foundation that lacks nothing.

It doesn’t need fixing or tinkering or remodels or repairs.

It is solid.

It is true.

It is.

For so long, the sweet, innocent ego has built a life, an identity, and a sense of purpose around repairing its own faulty, man‑made scaffolding and architecture.

As that scaffolding crumbles beyond repair, and as the ego catches glimpses of the solid structure beneath it, many feelings arise:

  • Grief for the loss of identity and purpose

  • Anger that its hard work seems to have amounted to nothing

  • Fear of not being useful, purposeful, or valued anymore

  • Boredom without a clear role to play

  • Sadness for how much life it has spent repairing what was always destined to fall

  • Desperation to hold onto the broken bits and pieces in hopes of maintaining some control

The list goes on.

And still—we don’t remove the ego.

We don’t judge it, abandon it, or fire it from its job.

We redirect it.

We offer it a new role, a new job description:

To be our focusing agent.

To steward our intentions and our “why.”

To refine the skills that arise from our natural strengths.

To look for what we value and appreciate—and speak it out loud.

To focus on our values.

To take action aligned with those values.

We invite the ego to help build our vision.

So the ego is re‑employed, re‑purposed:

from maintaining a destined‑to‑fall structure

to becoming a builder and co‑architect of our vision—

this time, resting on solid Source foundation.

Ego? You’re hired.

Let’s do this.

Together.
